The blah, blah, blah's.
I am currently calling myself a quilt artist, as I make hand made heirloom quilts at present. My work is displayed in The
Estate Hope Art Studio and is part of our residence on Crocus Hill, also within walking distance of Miss Jimmy's. I also exhibit
from the Devonish Art Gallery on the west end of the island.
I have a background in oils and pastels. I attended Catonsville Community College in Baltimore, Maryland,
Coppin State College and School 33 Art Center in Baltimore City.
While living in St. Thomas I opened the Camille Pissaro Art Gallery, housed in the birthplace home of Camille Pissaro.
There I represented about 35 artists from the region.
I have exhibited at the Reichold Center in St. Thomas, Tillet Gardens in St. Thomas and in the Biennial Art Exhibit in
Anguilla.

You will find the strangest sculpture in all of Anguilla in Miss Jimmy's yard. This 6 foot concrete construction on a
pedestal base is called Art E. Facts. He was built from all sorts of tools and things found around the yard and buried
in the yard, uncovered during construction. I wanted him to represent the heritage of the builders here, as Anguilla houses
are very unique. Most people built their own houses, often without the building plans we have now. As families grew,
so did the houses, a room here, a room there. Miss Jimmy's is a classic example of this. Concrete and steel, they are
as sturdy as the people. Walter and I did this sculpture together and fought over every tooth and nail in the process. I love
him. Both Walt and Art.
One more thing. I made this web site myself, which was very, very hard (for me) to do, so please forgive me any
sins.
