"You have your brushes, you have your colors, you paint paradise-then in you go."
A warm welcome to Miss Jimmy's, an artist retreat on the beautiful Caribbean island of Anguilla. Experience the true
beauty of this island paradise and live, work and play with us.
Miss Jimmy's was created to encourage and provide artists with a comfortable working atmosphere while enjoying island
life. More importantly, to have artists experience the real Anguilla, to be among and with us and contribute to our rich and
growing art community. Have some creative fun with a place to leave a mark if you wish.
Situated on a hill overlooking the historic lower valley, Miss Jimmy's house, originally built in 1937, is surrounded
by two acres of land at the end of a quiet road, and within easy walking distance of Crocus Bay beach.
Recently renovated and lovingly restored, with over 1000 square feet of living space, it is fully furnished for comfortable
living. This two bedroom two bath home includes a studio space with lots of natural light and an adjoining outside patio porch,
and is equipped with easels and tables for your creative use, including a portable French easel.
I am Carol Richardson, an artist and wife of Walter Richardson. Miss Jimmy's is Walter's childhood home, named after
his mother, known as Miss Jimmy.
